4.18.15 - My 2015 Gratefulness Journal

1/1 -- I am grateful for another day, and for a brand new year!

1/02 -- I am grateful for the increases in state minimum wages that went into effect yesterday.

1/04 -- I am grateful for orange juice.

1/05 --  I am grateful for the human body’s healing powers.

1/06 -- I am grateful for another day and week full of opportunities to do positive things.

1/07 -- I am grateful for those rare occasions when lobster tails go on sale!

1/08 -- I am grateful for a warm place to lay my head.

1/09 -- I am grateful for good health.

1/11 -- I am grateful for macaroni and cheese.

1/12 -- I am grateful for apples.

1/14 -- I am grateful for a positive, can-do attitude.

1/15 - I am grateful for the people of the world uniting against terrorist aggression.

1/16 - I am grateful for my sense of adventure.

1/17 - I am grateful for agencies that feed people in need.

1/18 -- I am grateful for the opportunity to respond to new challenges.

1/19 -- I am grateful for my upcoming “21 Immutable Laws of Leadership” seminar.

1/20 - I am grateful for a good night's rest, and a plate full of things to do today.

1/21 -- I am grateful for a renewed sense of purpose.

1/23 -- I am grateful for bursts of creativity!

1/24 -- I am grateful that the good memories outnumber the bad memories.

1.25 - I am grateful for my improved day to day outlook. Positive people get more done!

1.26 -- I am grateful for a loving, caring mother.

1.27 -- I am grateful that the blizzard Juno seems to have missed New York City and has definitely missed the DC area.  I hope that the people of New England are prepared and safe today.

1.28 -- I am grateful for a full calendar.

1.29 -- I am grateful for the chicken salad sandwich I just ate that I didn’t have to pay for, thanks to my thoughtful wife.

1.30 -- I am grateful for the rejuvenating qualities of a good night’s sleep.

1.31 - I am grateful for opportunities and for second chances.

2.1 -- I am grateful for learning how to bake ribs!

2.2 -- I am grateful for a better-than-average Super Bowl!

2.3 -- I am grateful for warm clothing.

2.4 -- I am grateful that my busy schedule keeps me away from television programming.

2.5 - I am grateful for liquid protein.

2.6 - I am grateful for plants! They are resilient; they add value; and they are interesting!

2.7 -- I am grateful for quiet, reflective mornings.

2.8 -- I am grateful for the gift of patience.

2.9 I am grateful for an open mind.

2.10 I am grateful for this comfortable dialysis chair!

2.11 I am grateful for a restful night’s sleep, and the gift of a new day.

2.12 I am grateful whenever there is an uplifting story in the news.

2.13 I am grateful for my leadership training!

2.14 I am grateful for making it through another challenging week!

2.15 I am grateful for love!

2.16 I am grateful for regular digestion!

2.17 I am grateful for the dialysis team’s emergency preparedness mindset. Thanks to their forward thinking, I am sitting at home during today’s wintry conditions because I dialyzed yesterday!

2.18 I am grateful for a warm place to lay my head.

2.19 I am grateful for muscle memory and the reticular activator.

2.20 I am grateful for Amazon Prime - it is 99 dollars a year well spent.

2.22 I am grateful that I am no longer bored!

2.23 I am grateful for the gift of preparation.

2.24 I am grateful that I can pick my state of mind.

2.25 I am grateful for Classical music.

2.26 I am grateful that February is coming to an end!

2.27 I am most grateful for the Internet.

2.28 I am grateful for the insights and opportunities that JR is providing me with.

3.1 I am grateful for hope. I am grateful for the promise of a productive future.

3.2 I am grateful for our in-house amenities, particularly the gym, the mini mart, and the laundry rooms. And, as of this summer, the pool!

3.3 I am grateful for living in a city that has so much to see that one could devote their life to seeing it all!

3.4 This one is getting used frequently -- I am grateful for the rejuvenating effects of a good night’s sleep.

3.6 I am grateful for snow boots!

3.7 I am grateful for new friends!

3.8 Did I mention that I am grateful for snow boots?

3.9 I am grateful that my wife and I have made it through 13 years.

3.10 I am grateful for the sandwiches that my wife brings home from work.

3.12 I am grateful for above freezing temperatures!

3. 13 I am grateful for the human body and the mind, both of which can be counted on in the clutch.

3.15 I am grateful for knowing how to listen to my body.

3.16 I am grateful that the seller pulled out of yesterday’s deal. He says maybe we can do it later in the week, but I think he’s pulling my leg and wants more money. Good for him; I wish him well. I’ll hold on to my money and wait for a straight shooter to come along.

3.17 I am grateful for the treadmill machines that are in the gymnasium in our apartment complex.

3.18 I am grateful for a very restful stretch of time (from the time I got home yesterday until right now).

3.19 I am grateful for all the opportunities that are coming my way.

3.20 I am grateful for another day on this planet!

3.21 I am grateful when people smile at me for no good reason!

3.25 I am grateful for forgiveness.

3.26 I am grateful for the Regis ‘79ers fantasy baseball and football leagues. They are a great way to keep in touch with schoolmates and friends.

3.27 I am grateful for allergy pills!

3.29 I’m grateful that Mom’s package finally arrived!

3.30 I am grateful for my calendar - it helps me get things done!

3.31 I am grateful for the new opportunities that keep popping up!

4.1 I am grateful for Bonchon chicken!

4.2 I'm grateful for deciding not to work out yesterday. I think I needed the rest, because I wrote up later than usual this morning.

4.3 I am grateful for the improved (but not yet perfect) science of weather forecasting.

4.4 I am grateful for some great college basketball games this evening!

4.5 I am grateful for freezers.

4.6 I am grateful for the gift of time.

4.7 I am grateful that today is blood work day at dialysis. I can eat whatever I want tonight, and I can ease up on the phosphate binders for a bit.

4.8 I am grateful for the monthly blood work and lab reports that keep me on track.

4.10 I am grateful for momentum, but am also grateful for those times when I can sit back and watch the world go by for a few minutes.
